Sterling Stitches is a luxury menswear brand in Abuja modernizing Yoruba-inspired fashion for the everyday man. We craft ready-to-wear caps, kaftans, jalabias, and trousers that blend cultural identity with clean, contemporary design—so you walk into any room looking sharp and feeling confident.
Our Story
Sterling Stitches began in Abuja in 2021 with a simple belief from its founder, Kolawole Alfis: when a man is well-dressed, he shows up differently. What started as a mission to help men feel confident quickly became a daily practice—dressing clients for big moments and quiet ones alike: weddings and celebrations, boardroom meetings, Sunday gatherings, and everything in between. At the heart of the brand is a love for Yoruba culture—and a refusal to let it feel “occasion-only.” Sterling Stitches modernizes classic Yoruba pieces for the everyday man, using a deliberate blend of tradition and contemporary design tools. The result is clothing that feels rooted, but current. Cultural, but effortless. From our showroom and factory in Abuja, we create ready-to-wear staples—Yoruba caps, kaftans, jalabias, and trousers—built for men who want to walk into any room and feel like they belong there. And this is only the beginning: we’re growing Sterling Stitches into a leading African menswear house—taking Yoruba-inspired design (and other Nigerian cultural expressions) beyond borders, and onto the global stage.
